Start your New Year off right by taking the steps to get ahead & move towards financial stability! Free, professional help is available! The next Getting Ahead Financial Education Workshop, sponsored by University Neighborhood Housing Program begins Thursday, January 29th from 6:00-8:00PM at Concourse House, 2751 Grand Concourse. Course meets Thursdays for 5 workshops (1 day a week, Jan 29th, February 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th), covering financial worries around garnishment, debt collectors, credit cards, student loans, banking products, retirement, savings and more.
Participants receive a copy of Credit Report along with an analysis, as well as guidance on credit building and debt management. Graduates receive a completion certificate, and a detailed savings and spending plan. Access to a free banking package at a local credit union and one-on-one advising is also included. RSVP today!
