We celebrate romance in February with the screening of a bittersweet movie in the double parlors. Set before World War II, Brief Encounter (1945) stars Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson as married Brits who fall in love after a chance encounter, but out of consideration for their families opt not to be together. Directed by David Lean and based on Noel Coward’s play Still Life. Free popcorn and tissues.
