The NYC Council is encouraging New Yorkers to continue lending a hand in the Sandy relief efforts this Saturday, January 19.
For this year’s Martin Luther King Day of Service, the NYC Council will be sponsoring a bus to go with NYC Service and other volunteers to help out in communities still recovering from the storm this Saturday, January 19. Help is still needed in many of these hard-hit areas, so we hope you can join us.
The bus will be departing from 250 Broadway in Lower Manhattan at 10 a.m. Saturday morning and going to one of our affected neighborhoods. Please RSVP to SandyRelief@council.nyc.gov with your name, email and cell number, and we’ll get back to you with additional details.
